Bridgend MP elected to Future Relationship with the EU Select committee

Newly-elected MP, Jamie Wallis, has been elected on to the committee for Exiting the European Union.

Membership of this committee was chosen by fellow members of the House of Commons to examine matters relating to the negotiations on the future relationship with the European Union.

Commenting on his election to the committee, Jamie said: ” I am delighted to have been elected by my fellow colleagues to this important committee.

“Our future trading relationship with the European Union is going to be one of great interest as talks now intensify between the UK Government and the EU.

“I hope to use my experience of handling negotiations with businesses across the world to make sure that the UK gets the best deal possible for businesses and residents alike.

“I am looking forward to getting straight to work and ensuring that the voice of businesses across the country are heard.”
