“Community asset” praised at Badgers Brook Allotments

A local, community-led allotment has been praised as a “community asset” by Jamie Wallis, Member of Parliament for Bridgend, on his visit to the Badgers Brook Allotments recently.

Jamie visited the allotment, based in Brackla, and praised volunteers for their hard work.

After the visit, Jamie said: “What a fantastic morning at Badgers Brook Allotments. Anyone who will have been to the area years ago will remember just how it looked then, and how local volunteers have worked tirelessly to turn it into a real community asset for everyone!

“It was great to meet with such fantastic, passionate volunteers, who have a real community spirit. I’m looking forward to supporting them in any way I can in the future.”
