My February Seaside News column focuses on my campaign to reinstate the bus service to Ton Kenfig.
The area lost its bus service several years ago due to budget cuts from the Welsh Government and Bridgend County Borough Council. It is shocking that the Council and Welsh Government were prepared to throw a small community to the wolves in this way.
Last week, I wrote to Bridgend County Borough Council and First Cymru to highlight the concerns of residents in Kenfig, and to find a solution ensuring that every area has access to suitable transport links.
I will continue to discuss this with the Council and First Cymru to ensure that a whole community is not cut off from crucial services.
