Local MP Jamie Wallis has hailed a Jobs Fair held in Porthcawl a great success in boosting the local-economy.
Speaking after the event, Jamie Wallis MP said: “A fantastic, busy morning at the Jobs Fair in Porthcawl. It was great to see how busy it was and how many jobs are available in our area!
“I particularly enjoyed speaking to PRIME Cymru, who have helped many over 50s who want to get back into work or start their own businesses, and they even now have a fund to support over 25s.
“I even saw someone get offered a job on the spot whilst I was there. Well done to the team at the Job Centre, Bridgend for such a well organised morning & thanks to all the exhibitors for making it such a success!”
