Last week, a number of constituents contacted me regarding their concerns about caravans parked on Locks Common in Rest Bay, Porthcawl.
Having written to the council at the time, I am pleased to see that the caravans have now been moved on from Locks Common.
However, the Council must take more action to protect this regionally important geological site in the future.
I have written to Bridgend County Borough Council to enquire about what action will be taken to ensure that the misuse of this land is stopped.
