Bridgend MP, Jamie Wallis, has welcomed the news that recycling centres across the County Borough are due to reopen on 26th May, but with strict social distancing guidelines in place.
He said: “I understand that community recycling centres across Bridgend will reopen on 26th May 2020.
“You are encouraged to only use these if you really need to.
“Bridgend Council, in cooperation with Kier have been working closely with each other to ensure that all sites adhere to social distancing guidelines and safety of staff and residents is their main priority, in most cases, this will meet they will only allow 2 or 3 vehicles at a time on site.
“This is in conjunction with Welsh Government guidelines to ensure recycling centres are able to open safely.
“Again, I would encourage you to only use these sites if absolutely necessary as there will more than likely be long queues to access the sites.”
