Bridgend Council are currently looking at changing provision for education for post-16 students across Bridgend.
Some of the options they are looking at include shutting down post-16 altogether in certain schools, although BCBC maintains this is only one of a range of options and no decision has been taken yet.
I want constituents to be assured that I’ll be fighting for a better choice for parents and students, a range of subjects to choose from on the curriculum, and where possible, to build on, rather than reduce, Sixth Form provision in schools and colleges in Bridgend.
I’m encouraging local people to fill in their consultation, which you can find here, to let them know what you really think.
