This week, I attended a flooding update briefing from Minister for Flooding- Rebecca Pow.
Storm Eunice caused severe disruption across Wales and the United Kingdom, with over 80,000 homes expected to be impacted.
However, it was promising to hear that the storm defences, invested in over the last 12 months, have been successful in stopping the most severe damage across the United Kingdom.
A huge thank you to the emergency services and volunteers who assisted efforts to provide support and assistance to those in Bridgend and Porthcawl impacted by Storm Eunice.
