In my Seaside News column, I have raised concerns about the highly damaging tourism tax Welsh Labour seeks to introduce.
The tourism tax would set a daily levy that visitors would have to pay to stay in Welsh hospitality settings. This tax will drive tourists out of Wales instead of attracting them to our fabulous seaside destinations like Porthcawl.
The proposed tourism tax will cost jobs and businesses. The Welsh Government should be helping to grow our tourism sector rather than punishing it.
