I am pleased that the Ysbyty’r Seren ‘pop-up drive-thru’ for COVID vaccinations has been hailed a huge success with 109 people attending for their vaccine, including several first vaccines.
Due to it’s huge success, Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board have informed me that they are currently planning to set up an additional site.
Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board is very near to delivering their millionth vaccination. So far, over 80% of the eligible population have come forward to receive at least two doses.
A huge thank you to everyone in Bridgend assisting in the vaccination rollout. It remains the safest way to protect our community from COVID- 19.
