I recently had a virtual meeting with the Chancellor about the future of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.
This scheme, known as Furloughing, has made sure that families across Bridgend have not had to worry about their pay packet during this Coronavirus crisis.
I also raised the issue about some self-employed people not being eligible for some of the schemes and the Chancellor assured me they were looking into it.
Remember, the deadline by which an employer can furlough an employee for the first time will be June 10, this Wednesday, in order for the current three-week minimum furlough period to be completed by June 30.
