Testing Removed for Fully Vaccinated Travellers

I welcome the UK Government’s announcement to remove all testing measures for fully vaccinated travellers from the 11th of February.

Arrivals who are not fully vaccinated will only need to take a pre-departure test and a PCR test on day 2 after they arrive in the UK.

I am pleased to see these changes come in time for the February half term, providing welcome news for families looking to travel during the school holidays.

I am also pleased that this announcement is an extra boost for the tourism industry in Wales and across the United Kingdom.

Thanks to the success of the UK’s vaccine and booster rollout, The UK will have the most open society and economy in Europe!
