Storm Eunice Flooding Update

Storm Eunice caused severe disruption across Wales and the United Kingdom, with over 80,000 homes expected to be impacted.
However, it was promising to hear that the storm defences, invested in over the last 12 months, have been successful in stopping the most severe damage across the United Kingdom.

I am pleased to see the UK Government’s announcement to start the rollout of veteran ID cards as part of the Strategy for our Veterans.

New Changes to Private Parking Charges

I have met with colleagues at the Department for Levelling Up to discuss the new changes to private parking charges.
The measures will be a major boost to motorists in Wales and will help draw people back to the Bridgend Town Centre by eliminating the fear of being unfairly caught out.
