Today is Pension Credit Day of Action. This campaign aims to help with the challenges some pensioners face with the cost of living. I have recently written to residents in Bridgend and Porthcawl to raise awareness locally and remind constituents to check if they are eligible for this UK Government support.
I was honoured to present this fantastic painting to The Princess of Wales Hospital on behalf of the Bridgend Disabled Veterans Random Act of Kindness Association. Lately, I have been working with the Home Office Ukraine Help Desk to assist with the Homes for Ukraine applications. This Help Desk has also been able to provide me with updates on constituent passport applications.
An update of what I’ve been up to this week as your MP for Bridgend and Porthcawl.
If there’s anything I can do to help, please do not hesitate to get in touch at Jamie.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Since becoming your Member of Parliament, I have fought hard against plans to locate a women’s residential centre within our constituency. I am pleased that the Justice Minister has listened to the concerns I raised with her regarding the proposed sites in Bridgend and Porthcawl.
