Bridgend MP, Jamie Wallis, has today paid tribute and signed the Holocaust Memorial Day Book of Commitment.
Today marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the liberation of concentration and death camps.
Speaking at the signing of the book of commitment, Jamie Wallis, Member of Parliament for Bridgend said: “On this most poignant of days, it is important that we learn from our history, fight racism and prejudice and learn from the mistakes of our past.
“These terrible events must never be forgotten. They are just as relevant today as they were 75years ago as stark reminders of the horrors of Nazi Germany and why we must do all we can to stand against such horrific politics today.”
