Bridgend MP, Jamie Wallis, has made his maiden speech in parliament today.
He used his speech to highlight some of the issues he will be focussing on, such as using his private-sector background to make Bridgend an even better place to set-up a business.
He also thanked those who, for the first time, may have voted for him and has stated that he will earn the right to their vote by working hard for them all-year round.
