Local MP, Jamie Wallis, has welcomed an announcement by the First Minister, Mark Drakeford, that they hope to publish their roadmap on easing lockdown restrictions in Wales.
The announcement was made in the Welsh Parliament today after the Bridgend MP raised the issue with the Prime Minister in the House of Commons earlier today.
The First Minister was then asked by the Leader of the Opposition and Welsh Conservative Group Leader, Paul Davies MS where he revealed the news.
Jamie Wallis commented: “I am thrilled that just over an hour after I asked this, Mark Drakeford has now agreed and that they hope to publish this on Friday.
“This will bring much-needed clarification to the people of Bridgend and the rest of Wales.
“Credit where it is due to the Welsh Government, we raised an issue with them, and according to the First Minister, on Friday, they hope, we will find out the information we’ve been waiting for.”
