Today, I attended the latest briefing held by the Foreign Secretary on the situation between Russia and Ukraine. This provided great insight into the ongoing diplomatic efforts in the region.
Last week, I welcomed landmark legislation that means the UK Government can now impose sanctions on Russian businesses and individuals in a wide range of economic and strategically significant sectors.
The United Kingdom will continue to spearhead diplomatic and deterrence efforts, remaining squarely behind the people of Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
