During an event in Parliament, Jamie Wallis MP for Bridgend attended an event in parliament, arranged by Cancer Research UK to mark World Cancer Day 2020.
During the event, Jamie Wallis said: “I met with Cancer Research UK ahead of World Cancer Day 2020. They told me that there are still around 1,500 cancer deaths per year in our Cwm Taf Health Board area.
“Cancer impacts so many lives directly and indirectly, and all of us will have been touched by cancer in some way or another. Events like this are an important way to realise how we all have a part to play to beat the disease.”
