I am deeply concerned about the growing problem of accessibility to dental care across Bridgend. As we face a cost-of-living crisis, it is unacceptable that Welsh patients are left without dental care access.
I am campaigning for the restoration of bus services in parts of Bridgend and Penyfai, following the decision of Easyway bus company to cease trading. I am asking Bridgend County Borough Council to restore services in Oaklands, Broadlands, and Penyfai. Additionally, I am asking for a service that travels past Glanrhyd Hospital to be reinstated.
In my column for the Glamorgan Gazette, I have welcomed this first step towards ensuring women and girls are safe from violence and assault in public, however this must not be the only steps taken. More action will be needed to make our streets safer for all.
