I recently met with golf clubs across Bridgend, who stressed to me the need for more funding to support and promote golf across Wales.
BCBC have responded to my calls for more funding to develop golf in Bridgend County by deciding to contribute £50,000 towards the Senior Open Golf Tournament at Royal Porthcawl.

I have written to Bridgend County Borough Council to highlight the concerns of residents in Kenfig about the lack of bus services in their area. It is crucial that every area has access to suitable transport links, to access medical services as well as shops and leisure facilities.

Working as One Union to Strengthen the Economy

The UK Government has continued to level up our economy, most recently strengthening our union by agreeing to the largest funding settlement for Wales since devolution was implemented in 1998. The global trade deals being signed by the UK Government will help increase Welsh exports and directly benefit companies within Bridgend.
