In my column for the Glamorgan Gazette, I have welcomed this first step towards ensuring women and girls are safe from violence and assault in public, however this must not be the only steps taken. More action will be needed to make our streets safer for all.

I have written to BCBC regarding the caravans currently located on Rest Bay playing fields. The continued illegal parking of caravans and vehicles is now obstructing the use of community facilities in Porthcawl.
The European Broadcasting Union have confirmed that the UK will host Eurovision 2023. The process has begun to find a host city in the UK. It would be fantastic to see Wales host the event as the land of song. We would ensure that the competition reflects and celebrates the people of Ukraine.
Rail strike action will take place this week on Wednesday 27th July, Thursday 28th July, and Saturday 30th July. These strikes will disrupt rail travel across the UK.
